About Us

It all started with family traditions (picture: Richard Miller, daughter Raelie, son Damian)

As a child i remember my daddy always having a garden, once I got older and had children of my own every spring til late fall we joined in with Mr Miller in planting, tending to and harvesting about any produce you can imagine.  He always took great pride in teaching his grandchildren how to be self-sustainable by teaching them how to take care of the soil, when to plant certain crops, how to properly maintain them, and when to harvest them.  At the time it seemed like a job but in reality it was our way of being together.  We always spoke about having a little market to sell the extra produce but he would always give away the majority to his family, friends and neighbors.  In 2020 I purchased a property in Lexington, NC and he helped us clear parts so that we could plant our trees and produce.  He was always encouraging even if he thought they were wild ideas.  He watched as I got married, grew a dream together with my husband of a cherry orchard but sadly passed away November 2022 before he could see it come to light.  I've had my ups and downs since, I have almost given up hundreds of times but every time I do I hear my dear daddy say "there's a lot of greens out there needing to be picked girl!!"

Beginnings and our first trees

Continuing family tradition and time

Our girls Keira and Sophia helping with spring maintenance to our young trees.

Expanding the orchard

Each year we plant more trees as we learn through experience, as well as adding blueberries

Getting back to produce

In summer 2023 we were finally settled in and broke ground to grow produce.  Previously we always grew everything at the home of my father and now have started working the soil at our home to continue the tradition.
